Hap Wilson Canoe Night
Thank you to everyone who attended, great evening, hope to see you again next year.
Canoeing enthusiasts of all ages and experiences enjoyed a great evening of canoeing pictures and stories with featured guest speaker Hap Wilson. Following presentations on the Nahanni River by a local group of paddlers and an update on the La Vase Portages, guests followed Hap's slide show ( and he still uses his trusted Kodak Carrousel projector with real slides) as he reminisced on his past adventures on the great rivers of Canada.
Recounting his experiences on the Seal River, the Coulonge, Missinaibi and years of paddling Lake Temagami area, his stories and images left everyone envious of the trips he has made and the delights of Canada he has seen.
Friends of La Vase hope to be fortunate enought to have Hap return another time to share even more of his tripping experiences.
